St. Sergius
Soldier Martyr, Citizen of Trieste, known for his piety and charity. He was martyred in the persecution of Diocletian, around 300 AD. A popular saint in Middle Eastern countries, he is represented riding a horse and killing a panther (symbol of cosmic evil) with his spear.
