Painting, portrait mounted in an album of Persian costumes. Man wearing a pale blue robe lined with red and green floral patterned material over a red-orange skirt. Wide, thick red, yellow and white waistband with a Khanjar tucked into it and a pearl encrusted amulet suspended from it. He wears a tall black hat with pearl and feather decoration. In his right hand is an orange (or other fruit) and his left arm is bent with his hand at his waist. Ink and opaque watercolour on paper. British Museum. AN1028520001. Qajar School.
