Two Seljuk Painted Bowls, Iran, 13th-14th Century

The first, Minai ware, depicting a procession of equestrian figures; gilt and painted in cobalt blue, green, Pompeian red, ochre and black on a cream-coloured ground; the second, incised with a circular motif and painted in iron-brown on a cream-colored ground. Each restored.
Diameter of the first: 11-1/2 in (29.2 cm).
