The book called Liber depictus from the Krumlov Minorite and Clarise Monastery belongs to a number of rare Krumlov monuments, which Český Krumlov left behind in various circumstances. When the Emperor Joseph II abolished monasteries in the second half of the 18th century, the book Liber depictus was transported to Vienna, where it is still deposited in the Austrian National Library under the signature 370 and it is one of the most precious monuments of the collection of manuscripts there.

The medieval 172-page book was created in the mid-14th century and contains the Bible of the Poor, two moralistic parables and thirty legends. On the cover page of the manuscript is depicted the Virgin Mary with the body of Christ, which symbolizes here the connection with the monastery in Český Krumlov, which was dedicated to "the honour of the body of Christ and the famous Virgin Mary". The founders of the monastery were Rosenbergs, and most likely they had the manuscript made and donated to the monastery. The Krumlov manuscript's fame was earned, in particular, by not telling biblical stories and the lives of the saints by word but by picture.
