(g) Armed personage of a stone relief from the Freer Gallery of Art in Washington, who has a quilted corselet of thick soft material as well as armoured skirt as thigh-defence. Worthy of note is the soldier's method of suspending the sword by means of a strap passing through the scabbard-slide, which must have been brought to the lands under review by the Kushan conquerors.
