Three Mamelukes on horseback
Willem Liefrinck, Jan Swart van Groningen, 1526, print, Rijksmuseum, Netherlands, RP-P-1950-409A
From a series of five prints with a procession of Turks.

The shield design with four "B"s is associated with Byzantium, see a 14th century Byzantine Icon with Saint Demetrios. The mamluk shaggy red zamt hat had been banned by the Ottomans after their conquest of Egypt in 1517.
